AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle) is a core solution for logistics automation, transport vehicles that carry products to designated locations manually or automatically without a driver. Recently, these systems have evolved into smart devices that combine autonomous driving and robotics technology to navigate workspaces independently, moving necessary tools or parts as needed.
Project Background & Objectives
Transporting high-load workpieces.
Transporting workpieces in both indoor and outdoor environments.
Components
- Robot
Robot: TOA100
Guidance Device: Comprised of sensors to recognize the path the AGV must travel.
Drive Unit: Consists of motors and motor drives to move the AGV.
Operation/Display Unit: The section for controlling vehicle operation, including power switches, start/stop switches, and touch panels.
Communication Unit: Performs functions such as manual operation, automatic operation, and position control.
Control Unit: Oversees the overall navigation control and movement of the AGV.
Workflow
- STEP 1.
- Loading: Load the cargo to be moved onto the transport cart.
- STEP 2.
- Connection: Connect the transport cart to the side or rear of the AGV.
