The increase in labor intensity for operators due to simple, repetitive tasks leads to problems with the supply of manufacturing personnel, resulting in significant decreases in productivity and profit losses. By applying a collaborative robot to CNC machine tools, this automated process solution improves work efficiency and increases productivity by allowing operators to be assigned to higher-level tasks such as quality inspection.

Workflow

STEP 1.
Raw Material Picking — The RB3-1200 cobot picks up an unmachined part from the tray using the pre-configured palletizing pattern.
STEP 2.
CNC Machine Loading — The cobot loads the part into the CNC machine tool, and automated machining begins.
STEP 3.
Machined Part Unloading — Upon machining completion, the cobot unloads the finished part from the CNC machine.
STEP 4.
Finished Part Palletizing — The cobot places the finished part into the designated tray following the programmed pattern trajectory.
